On 13th September 2023, Sri Devaiah sir (CTO) and Petty Officers Mr.Ravi Kiran & Mr.Venkat Rao of 1(T) Naval Unit NCC conducted an awareness to First Year Students about the Significance and Benefits of Joining NCC. Following are the advantages highlighted during the programme.
– Cadets will receive cruise experience to sail in ships.
-.Acquainted to design Ship Models.
– Get a chance to represent our State in Inter Directorate Competitions and Republic Day Camp at Delhi.
– Able to visit places, participate in national level camps, trekking, skiing & mountaineering and participate in nation building community services.
– Navy Wing ‘C’ Certificate,
– No UPSC written examination, direct SSB interview.
– Preference is given by various State Governments to the NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate holders for recruitment in the departments like Police service, Transport Department, Forest Department, Excise Department & other Private Multinational Companies prefer NCC certificate holders for recruitments.

First year students received proper knowledge about Naval Wing of NCC.
