On 5th April 2023, BJR GDC has proudly celebrated the birth anniversary of Sri Babu Jagjivan Ram, a notable Indian activist and politician who fought for the rights of the oppressed classes.

Essay writing competitions are been organized to the students on this occasion, and best performers received certificate of merit from Dr P V Geetha Lakhsmi Patnaik, Principal of the college.

Students with great motivation  participated in the event.
