On 18th August 2023, BJR GDC in collaboration with Samskruthi Foundation organized Raksha Bandan Programme in the college campus. Dr P V Geetha Lakshmi Patnaik, Principal, has supervised the event.

The event is conducted with the intent of upholding the cultural values, ethos, and traditions of the Indian Society. BJR GDC has created a platform to interact with defence forces and girl students tie rakhi for their well being.
