On 24.01.2022, The Two NSS Units of Babu Jagjivan Ram Government Degree college organised an Online Interactive Session on “Importance Of Girl Child Education.” Dr.P.V.Geetha Lakshmi  Patnaik, Principal of the college has encouraged the staff and students to organise the programme. NSS Programme Officer Dr.V.V.Mallika explained the students about the importance of the day. Dr.K.Suryanarayana Sir, Asst Professor of Commerce,enlightened the students about the importance of Girl child education. Dr.D.Muniswamy Sir, Asst Prof of Economics , briefed about the role of NSS Volunteeers in addressing the gaps in girl child education and nutrition. It is followed by student  presentations.
